TU Chemnitz, TU Ilmenau und OVGU Magdeburg konkretisieren Rahmenvereinbarung zur wissenschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit im Netzwerk der drei mitteldeutschen Universitäten

Forscher der Technischen Universität Chemnitz, der TU Ilmenau und der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg – zusammengeschlossen im CHIM-Netzwerk – denken die Produktion in der Industrie vollkommen neu: War seit der Industriellen Revolution der Mensch der Handelnde, der die Maschinen ans Laufen gebracht und immer alle Probleme gelöst hat, wird mit Productive Teaming die Maschine ins Team geholt.

Im Rahmen des 60. Ilmenau Scientific Colloquiums fand eine Session zum Thema „Productive teaming – Human-machine collaboration in the production environment“ statt. Diskutiert wurde die Rolle hochkomplexer cybertechnischer Systeme bei der Bewältigung zukünftiger Herausforderungen in der menschenzentrierten Produktion. Die Forschenden im CHIM-Netzwerk betonten dabei die Relevanz der Universitäts-übergreifenden Zusammenarbeit, um Innovationen in diesem vielversprechenden Forschungsfeld voranzutreiben.

Researchers from all over Germany will meet at the 60th Ilmenau Scientific Colloquium (ISC) for a research exchange on the topic of "Productive Teaming". The session is organised by the CHIM research and innovation network of the universities of Magdeburg, Ilmenau and Chemnitz.

Productive Teaming" is primarily about finding out what contribution highly complex, intelligent, adaptable and autonomous cyber-technical systems can make in overcoming future challenges in the field of production. To this end, interesting sessions, poster sessions and elevator pitches are on the programme on 7 September between 9:00 and 16:00. Among other things, challenges with regard to trust and security in teamwork will be discussed. An AI-driven design process as a basis for "teaming" in design drafting as well as collaborative technologies for virtual teamwork are also topics that will be taken up and discussed together with international experts.

How can humans and machines work together as a team? Researchers from TU Chemnitz, OVGU Magdeburg, TU Ilmenau, the Fraunhofer IFF and Digitalagentur Sachsen discussed these and other questions about "Productive Teaming" at Hannover Messe 2023 on 21 April.

One symposium, three universities: Successful interdisciplinary dialogue between scientists on the human-centred future of production.

The tri-university research initiative "Productive Teaming" brought together more than 40 scientists from different institutions to discuss an exchange as well as cooperation possibilities on the topic of "Teaming between human and artificial agents" and to develop solution approaches for increasing productivity.

From Feb 26th to March 3, about 30 scientists met in the beautiful Czeck town of Karlsbad to discuss the future ofindustrial production.
